As part of Lankelma data quality objectives, the interpretation of all thermal response test (TRT) results has been verified by a third party over an 18 month period. The close correlation is such, that reports providing values of Thermal Conductivity (λ) and Borehole Resistance (Rb) are now offered (as of November 2010) with or without independent verification.
Client confidence Clients can be confident in the end results of their investment. The estimated number of required BHEs (borehole heat exchangers) can be reduced when test results show greater thermal conductivity than originally allowed for. see graphs Conversely, with lower conductivity results, the number of BHEs can be increased to guarantee system performance. Once the thermal response testing is completed, the heat exchanger can be utilised in the borehole array � no wasted expenses. see method Click here to download technical TRT data
